The Braided Janes will continue their first-ever U.S. tour, Corazón Migrante U.S. Tour 2023, with performances at the Consulado General de México in Los Angeles on November 9th and Complejo Cultural Los Pinos in CDMX December 7th 2023. View the calendar of upcoming dates and locations
CORAZÓN MIGRANTE is both an art exhibit and a collective formed by a 23 multidisciplinary artists of Mexican decent residing throughout the U.S. The collective resulted from their participation in the Binational Artist Conference in CDMX in 2021 which they were invited to by the Mexican Consulate in their respective states. Singer, songwriter Jessica Rodriguez is among the artists representing Chicago.
The art exhibit features 40 paintings of various mediums as well as two paper maché sculptures, a fashion show and special acoustic musical performance by The Braided Janes.
The exhibit is 100% FREE and open to the public. The objective of the exhibit is to create more cultural events that highlight the richness and vibracy found within the Mexican migrant community in the U.S. while strengthening the ties that bring us together. Learn more about tour CORAZÓN MIGRANTE.
